How do I know which program is right for me? Start with where you are today. If you have mentored coaches for years and want it recognized, the 14.5 hour route fits. If you are a strong coach ready to begin mentoring, the 46 hour Standard Pathway is built for you. If you want to mentor across every credential level with the deepest assessment training, the 78 hour Advanced program is the one. Still unsure, book a call and we will place you honestly.
Do I need prior mentoring experience to enroll? It depends on the route. The 14.5 hour Credit for Prior Learning path is for coaches who already mentor. The 46 and 78 hour programs need no prior mentoring, because supervised practice is built in.
Are the sessions live, or self paced? Every program is taught live, in a small cohort, not pre recorded. You appraise real sessions, compare your judgment against an experienced assessor, and get feedback in real time. That live calibration is the heart of the method and the reason the training holds.
What is the Mentor Coach Specialization, and why now? It is the ICF credentialed pathway that formally recognizes mentor coaching as its own discipline, with clear standards. As the profession raises the bar, doing this work well, and being recognized for it, matters more than ever.
Are these programs ICF recognized? The 14.5 hour program is ICF CCE accredited. The 46 and 78 hour programs are built to ICF standards, with the 78 hour designed to the ICF AAMC standard. Each program page sets out exactly what it carries.
