You Already Mentor Coaches.
Make It Official.
Our ICF accredited 10-hour LIVE Mentor Coaching Education course, your Credit for Prior Learning pathway to the ICF Mentor Coach Specialization, for experienced coaches ready to have their mentoring recognized.
Most courses teach the competencies.
We train your eye for it.

The MCS- Credit for Prior Learning Pathway
You already mentor coaches. Maybe inside a school, maybe privately, maybe both. What has changed is that ICF now formally recognizes this work through the Mentor Coach Specialization, and the Credit for Prior Learning pathway is built for exactly your situation: an experienced mentor who has the practice, and now wants it documented and recognized.
This is not where you learn to mentor. It is where you turn the mentoring you already do into recognized capability. It gives you the 10 hours of education the pathway requires, and it sharpens the one part that stays hard no matter how long you have done this: judging, consistently and out loud, whether a real coaching moment meets the ICF standard, and defending that judgment. You leave with hours that count and an eye you can stand behind.

Recognized. ICF-Aligned.
Our program meets the 10-hour mentor coaching education requirement and is built to make your judgment reliable:
-
Live, synchronous sessions led by an experienced Mentor Coach and ICF PCC
-
The full 10 hours (and more) of mentor coaching education the CPL pathway requires
-
Real Faculty Reference Cases you learn to rate against ICF standards
-
Cross-Assessor Calibration, seeing where assessors agree and where they differ
-
A repeatable structure for developmental feedback that grows a coach
-
Lifetime access to teaching recordings in Google Classroom
-
A small cohort, capped at 9, with practice in triads throughout
-
Counts towards the Mentor Coach Specialization via the Credit for Prior Learning Pathway for experienced Mentors
Ten hours, delivered live across three evenings, in five units that cover all six ICF Mentor Coaching Competencies
What You’ll Explore:
-
Foundation and Ethics — what mentor coaching is, the competency model, and the ethical ground it stands on
-
Agreements and Process — contracting, the engagement arc, role boundaries, and managing the work over time
-
Formative Appraisal (the heart of the course) — appraising real sessions against ICF standards, faculty reference cases, and live calibration
-
Developmental Conversation — feedback that develops, the developmental question, and delivery that lands
-
Practice and Calibration — supervised practice applying the appraisal and feedback craft, with live calibration
You will learn to see coaching. Not just do it.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the CPL pathway to the MCS? The Mentor Coach Specialization is ICF's recognition for mentor coaches. Credit for Prior Learning is the route for coaches who already mentor: it recognizes your existing experience alongside the required education. This course provides the education step. Two further steps, ICF evaluator training and confirmation of your prior mentoring, are completed through ICF.
Yes. The Mentor Coach Training Program is accredited by ICF as a Continuing Coach Education (CCE) program, for 10 hours, all in Core Competencies, valid through 30 June 2027. Completing it gives you 10 ICF CCE hours toward credential renewal, and it serves as your Credit for Prior Learning pathway toward the ICF Mentor Coach Specialization. Elevate Life is also ICF accredited coach training provider for Level 1 and Level 2.
Who can I mentor toward after this? It depends on your ICF evaluator training. With ACC BARS you can mentor toward ACC, with PCC Markers toward PCC, and with MCC BARS toward MCC.
Do I qualify to enrol? Yes, if you are a current ICF credential (MCC, PCC, or ACC with at least one renewal) and at least five coaches mentored in the past three years.
How is it delivered, and what if I miss a session? Three live evenings on Zoom, with guided work in Google Classroom between sessions. Teaching sessions are recorded with lifetime access, so you can catch up.
When is the next cohort, and how do I pay? Register your interest below or on the event page, and we will send you the dates. Once your place is confirmed, payment details follow by email: a card link for international participants, and local bank transfer for participants in Pakistan.
